Optical Probe of Hydrocarbons

Sapphire windows facing a sample of crude oil, H2S and sand. PN101268

The probe ideally would have the sapphire windows brazed to the housing as this would allow the Customer to keep their certification (including single seal test). The Customer is open to including a sleeve that matches the sapphire CTE to increase stability of the design. The outer surface of this probe will be exposed to crude oil, H2S, sand and possibly other damaging type of waste. The added sleeve must be resistant in that environment.
